Valley View Downs racino is still alive

After a near decade of waiting Lawrence County just may (and may is still the operative word) get the long-awaited race track. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette published this article  http://www.post-gazette.com/stories/business/news/philly-investors-join-effort-for-racino-642460/ The owners are trying to bring in additional investors and that means we are getting closer to the project's start.

What will that mean for the local equestrian industry? A lot. A whole lot. Tracks bring horses and horses bring breeders, owners, horse lovers, and breeding/training facilities. From New Castle to Grove City the ideal parcels of land will be snatched up. Why? Pennsylvania has one of the best thoroughbred and standardbred breeders incentive programs in the U.S.

When the track comes it will bring jobs and equestrians to the area. That is a good thing for those wishing to sell a farm. Keeping watching this blog. I got my cousin Jimmy cruising all the newspapers for information. He'll see it first then you can read it next right here Straight From the Horse's Mouth.
